Please, don't double post. I'll see the edit when I get a chance to look at the topic.

Something seems to be wrong with the compiling. Could you post the changes you made to the code?

Sorry about that, Okay well I downloaded youre edited GTA 3 main.scm file from your link and saved it in my documents and then decomplied it in sannybuilder and went to the density settings you made and made both 3.0, then I complied and then did save as saving over the GTA3 main.scm file that was the original one in the games data folder, then I clicked run GTA 3 and it loaded it up, as its loading a new game it freezes past the half-way point and I have to press escape and then I get an unhandled exception that I describied above unsure.gif thats all I do, the only thing I touch in the code is the density settings which is just setting it too 2.0 or 3.0 or whatever That is all the steps I did.. I noticed before I replaced the original main.scm with your modified one that if ran fine with no problems wacko.gif

EDIT: Do you think you have a solutinon to the problem? Its the only thing standing in my way of having a more busy gta 3 ! sad.gif

I'm not sure... you seem to have problems with compiling the script.

Can I see the part of the script you changed?

That was a mistake.. there is no script.img for GTA III.

Take a screenshot of your Sanny Builder window and upload it to an image host.. Then post the link?

Well I don't know what the problem is, to be honest.

I could probably send a version with the values 2.0 and 3.0, but I don't know why compiling gives an error for you..

It did the same for the folder you made for me that had it set both at 2.0, if it helps the system I have is a Windows Vista 64 bit, and GTA 3 and sanny builder are both installed in the program files(86x) folder, I still dont understand though it works perfectly fine before the edits then when I compile and go over the original mainscm with yours it dosent work!!
Its happened with any other code edit I have done so it isnt just yours that does it

Try generating a new scm.ini from the Opcode Database before compiling. Copy it to Sannys data\iii folder, overwriting the current one that exists.

Hopefully it will work then. If not, I don't know how else to help.

You can't download one file from that website and then paste to certain folder? : O

Great News! I reinstalled GTA 3 and sanny builder and downloaded youre edited gta3.mainscm I put it over the original one while installing yours instead of in sanny builder and loaded up GTA 3 and it loaded great! smile.gif But there is one more problem I am encountering and that is when I open up the gta 3 main.scm file which is yours now, and I edit the numbers and once I am done and compile and save it , it creates a duplicate main scm.file with my edits while still keeping your file in the gta3/data folder and when I save it asks to overwrite the txt file, (this is all going on in sanny builder by the way) before I made it overwrite the main.scm rather than the txt file which I am doing now, and when I get rid of your file and its just my edited gta 3 main.scm (which is usually labled main.scm(1) becasue their is two main scm files in the gta 3/data folder ) It gives me the unhandled exception error from before

Go here.

Click "Download Latest .ini".

Choose the game (probably GTA III).

Click "Download".

Save to: C:\Program Files\Sanny Builder\data\gta3\

Compile main.scm. Simple.

Just delete/rename the scm files as appropriate...

Go into Sanny Builders options and tick "Always Overwrite Output File".
