I was trying to say that I didn't want to bump an old topic to get a post. I wasn't asking why it was disabled, but saying that it should be enabled. Anyway, how do you change the text from 'The New Guy!' to something else because I don't see an option in the personal profile page. Is there a post count requirement or am I looking in the wrong place? Also, is it legal to upload any of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas's files and use them if you have a legal copy of game (not torrents or warez)? I want to know this because I want the dll files from V1 ( eax.dll, bass.dll, ogg.dll, etc.) just to make some CLEO and ASI mods work. I sent a PM to Deji and he didn't reply (I think he just deleted it. ). Do I have to buy a rare copy of GTA SA V1 to get support?

Hello, I am having trouble with two of your mods. They are your Furniture Mod and SA ScrDebug. The reason I am sending you this message is because they both crash when you use them.

Furniture Mod: I put the files into the CLEO directory ( that would be furn.cs , furne.cs , furnm.cm , and furn.fxt ) and started the game. I went to a safe house that can be modded and pressed the key combo (TAB + Enter or F ) . Then the screen faded and I was at 24-7. But, the game crashed after a few seconds.

SA ScrDebug: I put the files (that would be SADebug.asi and SADebug.ini ) into GTA San Andreas directory and start up the game. The game crashes when I load or start a new game. When I disable the opcodes and the WriteToDebugFile thing, the game doesn't crash. How can I get the opcodes to work and how can I enable those cheats? (Like gaining lives in arcade games, auto-aiming in pool game, skipping missions, cheating in blackjack, etc)

I have Windows XP Pro SP3 , a legal copy of GTA SA Second Edition (Downgraded main.scm and script.img to version 1) , and CLEO 4 . I can't use the DVD because it is not compatible with the downgrade. Can you help me? Thanks!

I think you need to have five posts aroung the forum and then go to your User CP and change it. Also for backup purposes you can store them on your computer, all we host is mods, not backups from original files from a game that's supposed to be bought, it could be counted as warez. We recommend you to buy GTA San Andreas though, for minimisation of the problems but shouldn't be a problem, just not backup files.

I bought GTA SA SECOND EDITION, I couldn't buy the FIRST EDITION because I couldn't find it. I got a new copy of V2 at Amazon for $10. I also got the FIRST EDITION of the game for PS2. ( ) The only real difference is that the files are newer and updated with bug fixes and etc. Also, you can't use CLEO 4 and other ASI mods with V2 unless you downgrade the gta_sa.exe, script.img, main.scm, and maybe some other files like vorbis.dll to V1. I would happily post pics of the game if you or anyone else that still think that I didn't buy the game. I just want to make the SA ScrDebug and the Furniture Mod work. The first rule here said "Do not post cracks (.exes that don't need DVD's) or dll files to CRACK any game!" We are not trying to crack the game, we are downgrading V2 to V1. Also, the people at GTAForums.com are allowed to post backup files for the game. (search for Easy script switcher [PC] ) They also don't like warez. Anyway, can anyone help me or not here. If you don't help me, I will post my questions somewhere else and not release any mods that I would make. (Maybe people in The Deep Web would help me. I doubt it though.)

PS: If anyone wants a link to the old version of the portal gun ( a glowing blue or orange light in the center of yellow ring. I also have a modified version of ZAZ's Vehicle Spawner Premium Cleo Script that can spawn an RC Cam if anyone want's it. Or, I can give a tutorial on how to add vehicles into the script. If you want any of these, PM me.

Original backup files are pretty pointless with such a tool called GTASA Recoverer in existance. Please post modding questions in the modding forum.

Most problems with getting CLEO to work can be answered here.
