Has anyone else updated to cleo 4.2a? There doesn't seem to be a change log included, so is anyone aware of any improvements? The only thing that I did notice is that there seems to be a memory problem regarding opcode 0A94. The game doesn't read the string right, since the string ends up as "<name><2 random chars>.cm". And it doesn't seem to be compatible with scmlog.

It's just an open source update.

I'm sure they rewrote the library code, CLEO 4.1 disasm has nothing to do with CLEO 4.2. 4.1 use C Streams, etc... Executable size too is completly different...
Also they had to port it to GCC, and GCC asm directive is a bit... non-easy to use, another mistake, why GCC god, why!

Some mods crashes on this library version...

I know how to get it to work 100% right!!
take cleo 4f not 4.2a but the top choice or 4f from sanny builder (newwest), and install then using the same vorbisfile.dll, vorbishooked.dll, and basefile.dll replace just the cleo.asi from 4.2a with the installed cleo.asi from the 4f cleo!!
Don't worry about when you stop the game and you see and error 0xC4189 OF 0xC45221 or what not it's just the log kicking in witch makes cleo's (cm) and (fxt) write on cleo.log text every time you start the game!!
Log will also reset every time you start new game which is great and wonderfull.
If using full screen just push enter to write log once game is stopped.
