This tutorial was made by someone who was teaching me Modeling as a PDF form , so i decided to share it here as it is a great tutorial.

1. First we draw a box, somewhat that of a flat plane.

2. Convert to editable poly

3. Using the swiftloop tool cut the sides into four pieces. (I turn the poly to dark blue so the edges are visible clearly)

4. In the bottom select the four corner faces and extrude them for the leg.

5. Now after extrude has been finished, keeping those selected use the scale tool to scale those four faces down, so that the lower part of the leg becomes thinner.

6. Now select the top three faces near one of the faces for back rest and extrude them too.

7. Now select the top vertices and manipulate them from a side view to get the angle of back portion.

8. There you go you have your chair

It's a nice first-step modelling guide, could do with a bit more introduction and some follow-up ones on getting them textured and in-game.
