I'm probably going to start playing GTA III soon from start to finish (expect to see me gone for this time tongue.gif) as I've never properly taken the chance to play all the missions. Problem is that my PC keeps blue-screening when I play it, which is gonna make it hard to play... It's that infamous Infinite Loop thing. I've fixed it before, but it involved loads of hassle with uninstalling/reinstalling countless amounts of drivers till I got the right one.

I'm using nVidia GeFORCE 6200. 768 RAM. 2.0GHz AMD Athlon Proccessor.

So if anyone happens to pass by with any solutions... Please give me em! Because I want to have a rest from all the San Andreas stuff and get back in touch with GTA III, my second favourite of the GTA games biggrin.gif

Same specs as mine it seems, other than ram which i have 1 gig of. I never get blue screens. I don't however use current video drivers for my 6200. I use Forceware 91.31. This driver seems to work for me with all the GTA series up to San An.

Next time it does blue screen on you gather as much info as it gives you on the crash. I'll provide as much help to you as i can.

Some helpful info would also be your motherboard model. Using a sound card or onboard sound?
Hopefully you do have it fixed now. Just got back from vacation today so just saw this post.

My specs:
Asus A7v880
1gb Corsair Value Select
athlon xp 3000+ @2.167
MSI Nx6200ax 256mb gfx card
80gb Western Digital
