I think maybe a slide-show type banner would look nice. rolleyes.gif

If after about 5 seconds or so the banner changes to another image then It'd be cool. smile.gif

...just a suggestion. whistling.gif

Also some smilies have white parts around them. ninja.gif excl.gif I hope these can be fixed soon... rolleyes.gif

Mmm... That'd make things a bit slow for people with bad connections (e.g me, lol).

I've gotten rid of the white around the ninja.gif emote but the others will have to be worked on wink.gif

By the way, what do you think of the new banner?

I think the new banner looks cool but I miss the old one that's why I'm proposing the slideshow thing. whistling.gif

I also noticed that the buttons go "inward" when hovering over them now. happy.gif

We made minor skin changes. In this case, me, Deji, idk, the GTAG administration. tongue.gif Still, that slideshow idea wouldn't be bad, and the picture wouldn't need to be big. For example the banner could be a single file instead of loading a new image every 5 minutes. An example is Sloganizer. That banner woudln't take up a dial-up, w/e connection as it would be just one file.

It's something that loads of websites could do, but few websites do (except some Javascript-loving teen webmaking newbies). This could be done with JQuery or a Flash video, but I still think it's a waste of bandwidth/data usage. Maybe the banner could cycle depending on time of the year (spring, summer, etc). But it couldn't change per-refresh, again, because that requires loading a picture every refresh... Which is a bit of a waste of time.

^ Umm... k. rolleyes.gif I'm not too deep into Web Design so I didn't understand what you said except:

Soo... I'm guessing the slideshow thing's not happening? sleep.gif

I think that will be fun. Maybe a whole theme change on certain dates too. We could all huddle around GTAG waiting for the whole website to fade into some kinda theme. sorcerer.gif
