My gta sa is looking in a different directory for my save games , i figured that out because i'm using sgedit (save game editor) and everytime i open it, it shows the directory of my gta save games. so now i think it's saying that my gta sa is looking for it in a different folder. i have no idea how it changed. the save games are usually found in my documents, san andreas user files, right? but now the sg edit says it is in a folder on my desktop. i can transfer all my save games to that new folder but that would suck. please help, my gta sa don't have any saved games to load. i don't want to start all over again.

So you're saying that all your save games have moved to your desktop?

San Andreas has a common bug at times related to save games and the general user files folder. Try moving the files from the desktop into the correct directory.

If all else fails... You can always reinstall San Andreas (but make backups of the save files) and transfer them other at a later time... They should still work fine.

It could be helpful for you to supply some more information on this problem.

I figured it out. It has something to do with the compatibility mode. i remember messing with it before the problem started. Thanks!
