I'm gonna be talking statistics n stuff now about the website and how far it may get (popularity wise). I just like to keep track of this and when we have much more members I can look back knowing I achieved my goal

I knew that redesigning the website would get us somewhere, I just never thought it would take us this far. Finally, Google has crawled the website and cached the updates properly. This means two things...

1. If we are experiencing downtime, you can google us, then click 'cached' to view the website as it is now unlike previously when the old design was still showing which was useless.

2. This also means, Google has crawled deep and now that the bot probably notices the design changes and improved layout/design/coding and also that we regularly post news onto the site, it'll come back more often. I've noticed we're higher up on a few searches, now.


Some other great news, is that we are now listed on PlanetGTA, a very popular website from wayy back in the days when GTA was new. This again, means two things...

1. Google will see that we are listed on a good website... $2 + Respect + Pagerank

2. We know for sure that the guys in charge of adding links there found us worthy of addition... Which means the new design must be satisfying visitors, which is nice to know.


Yeah, maybe I'm making a deal out of little things, but it's enthusiasm that has made this site go from the dump it used to be to an almost respectable website Nah, just kidding... We're the best

So, we're on the rise after just about a month of the redesign and 2 weeks of real completyness... I'd better hurry up and finish the rest of the website if we're going to be getting visitors, which... We will.

Oh yeah, and don't worry about the whole ".gtagaming.com" thing. Just because we have a subdomain doesn't mean it's impossible to make it high in Google (this is a popular myth). Google ranks by anything but the difference between domains and subdomains and the fact that the domain has "gtagaming" in it means that really, we're getting a boost.

Yes, it's a myth. We have just as much chance of topping Google with our subdomain than with a straight forward .com thing going on, if not more... Which is why I always believe free hosting should be something used more often by professionals because... If you're really pro, you don't need a domain all that much, you just need to be able to use what you can get free... That's the way I look at things, anyway.
