Allows you to compile script.img and test the changes quickly, without closing the game.

Download

Requires patching sanny.exe and a minor edit of gta.dat - as well as ASI installation.

Hey,
When I try to patch sanny.exe I get this message:

In english it means:
This application could not started, because Side-by-Side-Configuration is invalid. You can find more information in the applicationeventprotocol. More details can also shown with the comandline tool sxstrace.exe.

Any idea?

I have Win7 64-Bit, if it is important.

You can try patching the EXE manually (only one byte needs changing).

Open sanny.exe in a Hex Editor (I reccommend HxD/HexDen). Go to hex offset F4BB0 and change the byte there (which should be 74) to EB.

Ok, thanks. A mate of mine already patched it for me (her runs win xp). But it does not work realy for me. This means, my script.img gets not renamed to _script.img, so externals do not work. Any idea?

Did you follow the instructions for gta.dat etc. exactly?

Yes I did, the entry in gta.dat links to _script.img, but _script.img does not exist, because the script.img gets not copied or renamend. I cheked all steps several times, but it still does not work.
I think SASRLDR.asi must be the problem here, cause the copy and rename, wich should be done by SASRLDR.asi, does not work. Maybe it does not work on Win7 64 Bit? Like that exe patch?

I have Win7, 64 Bit. Both work on my computer. Not too sure what the problem is. The only thing I can think is that there is maybe a permissions error. Maybe an antivirus taking play?

I tried to run it without my Anti-Virus, same result. Hmm, very strange. You have any idea? Because this would be very, very usefull for me.

Like most mods, this is strictly 1.0 only. If you're not using it, you probably aren't a modder anyway? In which case, you don't need this.
