The Black Market Mod is an episodic addition to GTA San Andreas where you aim to build up your own empire in black market trade. Your activities are illegal and not only do you have to watch out for cops, you are in direct competition with many of the criminals running the streets. You will start out small-time, barely noticed by anyone apart from the fiends looking for a quick hit for their veins. As your influence in the market grows, your troubles get bigger. Only the toughest can survive and earn the reputation to become successful.

hi deji, i love your work...but i have a problem, mod doesnt work for me, i dont know why...i placed all files in his place, txd with txd, cs in cleo etc... maybe i need a noobs readme haha forexample, save carpet where to locate? i have some questions and i m desesperated, because this is my favourite mod and i couldnt play it, i like dr**s and SA ....i need this mod, please deji help me rolleyes.gif

Can someone help me with this mod. I've been spending endless hours trying to understand how to write and read scripts, every other mod worked for me except for blackmarket sad.gif
Inside the blackmarket download / cleo folder where intoperations.cleo and blackmarket.ca, there is also another blackmarket folder with drug_peds.dat? and blackmarket.ifp? and a copy of the bmm.txd file that goes in model/txt folder?? (I have tried every possible way to put those files in different places and iv'e been so obsessed with finishing what i started that i'm now dedicated to learn about everything I can so i can make my own game alltogether! but for now please can someone help me play this mod, dont get me wrong, i have my own dudilligence believe me..sorry for your troubles.....also in the read me.txt is says "recommended to
have an un-modded main.scm file when using this mod
as buying drugs from the dealers depends on hooking
the DEALER script within the script.img file. In fact, it completely takes it over" know what does that mean??? even my dad a computer programmer is having troubles and left me alone on this one.. and super_vars.asi goes in the gta sa directory right??

Your installation directory, including CLEO, ASI Loader and Black Market installation, should include the following files in the correct structure for Black Market to work correctly.

CODE
GTA San Andreas/
  cleo/
    BlackMarket/
      save/
      BlackMarket.ifp
      drug_peds.dat
    blackmarket.cs
    IntOperations.cleo
  models/
    txd/
      bmm.txd
  cleo.asi
  SuperVars.asi
  vorbisFile.dll
  vorbisHooked.dll


Having bmm.txd in the "cleo\BlackMarket" directory doesn't make a difference.

See now im sure I had it right with the file structure. still is giving me trouble, when i put blackmarket.cs in sanny builder, it gave me this error "Unknown opcode 7239 at offset 3487". no where did you say to open the custom scripts in sanny builder but everyother .cs file i downloaded on other mods opened in sanny builder...do you think this is my problem? "Unknown opcode 7239 at offset 3487."?

Well, you're not supposed to be opening blackmarket.cs in Sanny Builder. I've not forbidden it, but even if you do open it, there's very little you can do to it, as the code will be a complete mess due to the amount of coding tricks used (there's a lot that have never been used in any other CLEO script). You won't be able to edit it using Sanny Builder without spending hours reconstructing code.

its all good and working for me. and when i said that you didn't tell me to open it in sanny builder, but i opened it anyway, I ment that in respects that you already gave me enough information to work your mod. my last comment wasnt really needed as I found the answer, like my dad told me, that I need a different version, i got it now and its an amazing mod.. if i can put a suggestion...
maybe make amounts where you buy one unit of m.j make that 1 ounce which is 28 grams.
some people buy half ounce 14
some buy quarter 7
some small time people poor people etc.. or with experiance gain...they buy 10 dollar grams.

Very nice Deji! You got me hooked now. I'm excited for future versions. Some suggestins though:

- Make it so when you're standing still, you do the drug dealer idle animation
- Add FBI Agents who will try to buy from you and arrest you when undercover
- Perhaps make it so you could grow weed plants, etc.

Good job so far. Really enjoying it.

Downgraded cleo but still not working, pressing left cntrl or secondary fire nothing happens, and still supervars crashes game, do I need supervars to play mod??

Yo, DEJI! I've been having a lot of problems with the installation of this mod... I've tried different CLEO versions (Now I have 4.1.1.30f) and even different versions of the game!(Now I have this one: "Grand_Theft_Auto__San_Andreas_Full_PC_Game_" , and the HOODLUM crack 14,383,616 bytes) I also tried both of your mod's versions, and tried swapping between bmm.txd in the models\txd directory, or leving it in CLEO\BlackMarket directory. YES all of that biggrin.gif, but the problem is now Cleo shows that it has 1 script running, and I can bring up the stash menu by pressing TAB + Y(conersation - yes), but I can't get drugs because there are no drug dealers on the street, literally looked everywhere... Did I do something wrong? Little help please!

Sounds like the mod is installed perfectly. There are no modifications to drug dealer spawning, so it's down to the actual game to spawn the dealers.

Though, if you have a 100% save game, that could be a problem. When you kill drug dealers in San Andreas, it actually tracks it and once you kill or scare away enough of them in any one area, they stop spawning there completely.

Were I to be able to edit this version of the mod currently, it wouldn't be hard to prevent the game from making dealers extinct whilst the mod is installed, but for now your only option is to hope they aren't all dead, use a new save game (and don't kill too many dealers tongue.gif) or look into creating a basic CLEO script which may be able to create them on nearby roads at random intervals and trigger the Black Market Mod's effect on them.
