R*'s SCM language

Hmm, as stated in GTAModding's wiki page about the SCM scripting language, more of it was revealed upon R*'s release of the mobile ports of GTA3 and VC.

My question is, in relation to other languages like C++ and UnrealScript, how are types handled, i.e. the typing discipline, and as to what influenced the language?

SCM is definitely based on BASIC.

I don't know if it is already known, but the GTAIII Version for iOS contains obviously the original source files...

Sorry, but you're late. It was known a day or two after the release of Mobile III tongue.gif
Whole SCR is strongly based on this.
